Follow These Steps to Delete Instagram Account
Step-1: Log in to your account
This is the first step on your journey to deleting your Instagram account. You need to log in to your account before you can delete it. On the left side of the page, you’ll see a menu that says “Account.” Click on that and then scroll down to find the “Delete Your Account” option. Once you’ve done this, Instagram will show you a warning message that reads: “Warning: Once your account is deleted, it’s permanent and cannot be recovered.”
Step-2: Tap on the 3 dots in the top right-hand corner
Top the 3 dots in the top right-hand corner of your profile screen. This will bring up a secondary menu with options for “Account Settings”. Select “Delete Account” and then enter your password. Tap on “Delete my account” to confirm this action. Tap on the 3 dots in the top right-hand corner of your screen and drop-down menu will appear. Scroll down to “Delete Account: and click it. If you’re sure you want to delete your account, click “Delete My Account”.

A long as you logged in with your Instagram account, you ill be taken to the Instagram settings page. Scroll down until you see the /”Account”/ section and tap on it. Under the /”Account”/ section, there’s a box that says /”Delete your account”/ Tap on it and hit “Delete my account” The app will then show you a warning that says deleting your account is permanent and once you do, it cannot be undone. If this is what you want, click on the “OK” button. after that, all your posts and pictures will be deleted from Instagram.
Step-4: Scroll Down and Tap
Tap \”Delete Account\” and follow the instructions. It will lead you to a delete account page where you must enter your password and tap on \”Delete my account.\” You can also select a reason for deleting your account, if desired. Once you tap on \”Done,\” your account is marked as inactive. Scroll down and tap the button that says “Delete Account”. This will bring up a screen with a confirmation page that asks you to enter your password to delete your account. Enter the password you chose when you signed up for Instagram and then tap “OK”. Tap “Yes, Delete My Account” at the bottom of the screen and then confirm by tapping “Yes, Delete My Account” again on the next screen.
Step-5: Enter your Password
When you enter your password, Instagram will ask you to confirm that you want to delete your account. Press “Delete Account” and continue to the final step. If you have previously forgotten your password, you can reset it by going to your account’s settings page and following the instructions from there.
